FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (WUSA9) -- A man was killed after he was ejected from a vehicle in a Fort Washington accident early Sunday, police said.

Around 1:18 a.m., police say officers responded to Old Fort Road and Livingston Road for a report of a collision. Officers found an adult male who had been ejected from the vehicle and had sustained critical injuries. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

After an investigation, police say the vehicle was traveling Eastbound on Old Fort Road when the driver lost control and the car rolled over several times.

It has not been determined why the driver lost control of the car and police say no one else was injured.
